Troll Letterbox???? CT

From: windolf7 (windolf7@yahoo.com) | Date: 2002-09-30 14:54:15 UTC
Hi, while out planting our *first* letterbox(es) yesterday (clues
soon to follow) in Goodwin Forest in Hampton, CT, we happened to find
a letterbox that was out in the open, on a bridge. I don't think any
actual letterboxers had signed in, as all of the people who did used
the box stamp to stamp in. We remember that it was planted by
someone named Bear and another person in February. We also have
reason to believe that it was moved at some point to its current
location. A person named "a dogwalker" signed in and said "now that
this is out in the open, maybe you'll get more visitors." So
basically, what we are asking is if anyone has any information about
this box. We searched the website for the troll letterbox to no
avail. It is not listed as a mystery box or hitch hiker either.
Maybe the planter has been wondering about his or her box. We don't
know, just thought it was pretty strange.

Hi... Wandering Frog (my mom)and Small Bear planted the Bear Family
letterbox in Goodwin Forest last august of 2001. It was close to a
bridge... and this august (2002) we went back to replace the notepad
(so there may not be anyone stamped in yet). What did the stamp look
like in this box you found? We will go check on our box as soon as we
have time, but anyone with info on the Bear Family letterbox please
let us know asap! Thank you!
